Privacy Policy

How we handle your information.

Effective July 2026. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Plain English, no legalese where we can avoid it.

Information we collect

Findora is an editorial website. We collect only what we need to run the site, understand how it's used, and respond when you contact us. This includes:

  • Information you provide — such as your name, email address and message when you use our contact form or email us directly.
  • Automatically collected information — such as your IP address, device type, browser, referring pages and interactions with the site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — small files stored by your browser to remember preferences and measure how our pages perform.

How we use your information

  • To operate, secure and improve the Findora website.
  • To reply to your enquiries, feedback and partnership requests.
  • To understand which finds and pages resonate with readers.
  • To detect abuse, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
  • To send email updates in the future — only if you explicitly subscribe (see "Future newsletter subscriptions" below).

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies. Essential cookies are required for the site to function. Analytics, functional and marketing cookies are optional and controlled by our cookie banner. You can change your choices at any time via the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.

Analytics

We use privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate trends — pages viewed, referrers, approximate location and device. These insights help us decide what to publish next. Analytics only runs if you accept it.

Google Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to measure traffic patterns. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device to help identify return visits and campaigns. IP addresses are anonymised where supported. You can opt out via our cookie banner or install Google's opt-out add-on.

Microsoft Clarity

We may use Microsoft Clarity to capture anonymous behavioural metrics such as scroll depth, clicks and session replays with personal information masked. This helps us find broken pages and improve usability. Clarity only runs if you accept analytics cookies.

Search Console

We use Google Search Console to see how Findora appears in Google search results — aggregate queries, impressions and clicks. Search Console does not identify individual visitors.

Affiliate links

Findora features affiliate links. When you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate networks may set their own cookies to attribute the purchase — please see their privacy policies for details. Affiliate relationships never influence what we choose to recommend.

Third-party services

We rely on a small set of trusted vendors to run the site, including cloud hosting, database, authentication, analytics providers and email delivery services. Each vendor processes only the data required for its specific service, under its own privacy terms.

Data retention

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected — typically up to 24 months for analytics, and as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiries. Anonymised or aggregated data may be kept longer.

Security

We use industry-standard practices — encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and hardened cloud infrastructure — to protect your data. No online service can be perfectly secure, but we work hard to minimise risk.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email hello@findora.ae. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Future newsletter subscriptions

We may introduce an optional Findora newsletter. If we do, you'll only receive it if you explicitly subscribe, and every email will include a one-click unsubscribe link. We won't add you to a list without your consent.
